New Tehri or Tehri Garhwal is a modern town developed at the hilltop of the Garhwal region in Uttarakhand. Climate & Best Time To Visit

New Tehri district experiences a favorable weather condition throughout the year. Summers are pleasant and the temperature does not rise too much. Winters are cold with the temperature dipping to -10°C but that does not create any hurdle for travelers.

It is recommended for visitors carry light woolen or cotton clothes during the summer and heavy woolen clothes during the winter season. The monsoon season experiences moderate to heavy rainfall in the region.
