Terms & Conditions – UttarakhandTrip.com (UKT)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, portal, or digital platform operated under the name UttarakhandTrip.com (UKT) (“Portal”). By accessing or using this Portal through any device, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

References to “UKT”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to the operators of the Portal. References to “you” or “user” include individuals accessing the Portal, as well as suppliers, vendors, guides, agents, interpreters, and other travel service providers (“Travel Service Providers”).

1. Right to Modify

UKT reserves the right to revise, amend, or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Portal following the publication of updated Terms shall constitute acceptance of such revisions. Users are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility & User Obligations

By using this Portal, you confirm and agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or of legal age to use digital services.
  • You will comply with all Terms and applicable laws.
  • You are authorised when acting on behalf of another person to make bookings or enquiries.
  • All information submitted by you is accurate, complete, and current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and all activities conducted under your account.
  • You will update your contact details if you subscribe to communication alerts.

UKT may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice in the event of any violation of these Terms.

3. Role of UKT as an Intermediary

UKT operates solely as an online intermediary that facilitates the display and discovery of travel-related products and services. UKT does not own, operate, provide, or control any travel services displayed on the Portal.

All travel products and services (“Travel Products & Services”), including but not limited to hotel bookings, car rentals, bike hires, tour packages, itineraries, helicopter bookings, and guide services, are supplied by independent third-party Travel Service Providers. UKT does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, pricing, or suitability of any Travel Product or Service.

Users are responsible for verifying all details directly with the Travel Service Provider prior to booking. UKT shall not be liable for service failures, delays, cancellations, inaccuracies, personal injuries, losses, or damages arising from third-party services.

4. Bookings & Contractual Relationship

When a booking, purchase, or hire is made through the Portal, the contractual relationship is exclusively between you and the respective Travel Service Provider. UKT does not set prices, service standards, terms of service, or cancellation policies.

Any grievances, losses, damages, refund requests, or legal claims must be addressed directly with the Travel Service Provider. UKT may, at its discretion, assist by facilitating communication but holds no liability for any disputes.

5. Travel Service Provider Obligations

Travel Service Providers using the Portal agree not to:

  • Provide incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • List services with unreasonable, manipulated, or fraudulent pricing.
  • Submit false identity, documentation, or business credentials.
  • Create duplicate or unauthorised accounts.
  • Engage in misconduct, misrepresentation, or fraudulent acts with users.
  • Harass, misguide, or mistreat users.
  • Engage in suspicious, unlawful, or unethical activities on the Portal.

UKT may suspend or permanently terminate access for any violation and may pursue legal remedies, including recovery of losses where fraud is involved.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Portal or its content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
  • Reproduce, copy, or misuse Portal data.
  • Make fraudulent, speculative, or misleading bookings or enquiries.
  • Resell travel products or services obtained through the Portal.

UKT reserves the right to cancel fraudulent bookings, suspend accounts, and deny refunds in such cases.

7. Maps & Geolocation

Any mapping or geolocation features are governed by the applicable Google Maps Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Users are advised to refer to Google for updates or policy changes.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including text, graphics, images, designs, and data displayed on the Portal, is the intellectual property of UKT or the respective Travel Service Providers. Use of such content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. If you believe any copyrighted material or proprietary content has been used unintentionally, you may contact us through the ‘Contact Us’ section, and we will review and remove the content as necessary.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Portal and all content are provided on an “as is”, “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. UKT does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any information or travel service displayed.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
