  1. Vishal Badri (Badrinath) is the most famous of the five in the Chamoli district. This temple is perched at an elevation of about 3,133 meters above sea level, surrounded by the majestic Neelkanth peak. It's an essential part of the Char Dham Yatra.
  2. Yogadhyan Badri - Situated in Pandukeshwar, this temple is where Lord Vishnu is believed to have meditated. It's visited by pilgrims who find the main Badrinath temple closed during winter.
  3. Bhavishya Badri - Located near Tapovan in the Chamoli district, this temple is believed to be the future abode of Lord Vishnu when Badrinath becomes inaccessible due to geological changes.
  4. Vridha Badri - Found near Joshimath, this ancient shrine is said to be where Lord Vishnu appeared before sage Narada. It's known for its old, large statue of Vishnu.
  5. Adi Badri - Consisting of 16 small temples spread over a small area near Karnaprayag, it's considered the original abode of Lord Vishnu, dating back to the Gupta period.

These sites are spiritual centres and showcase the rich cultural heritage, attracting devotees and tourists for their tranquillity, architecture, and natural beauty.
